Industrial Postdoc

An industrial postdoc project is a collaboration between an industrial postdoc, a company and a public research institution on solving specific research tasks. The industrial postdoc works full-time in the company, and the project takes place in collaboration with a public research institution. The industrial postdoc shares his/her work time between the company and the research institution in accordance with the project requirements.

Industrial PhDs and industrial postdocs constitute Innovation Fund Denmark’s “Industrial Researcher Programme”, which contributes to ensuring its objective of creating growth and employment in Denmark.

What is a Postdoc?

A postdoc is a temporary research position  between one and three years for those who have taken a PhD degree.
