Is there any space for nature?
On February 12, 2021, Jens-Christian Svenning was invited by Radio4 Morgen to talk about the national nature parks that the Danish government is planning to establish.
The establishing of the 15 national nature parks in Denmark has sparked a lot of debate. Jens-Christian Svenning was interviewed on the Danish radio program, Radio4 Morgen, about the scientific background for establishing the nature parks. Jens-Christian Svenning explained the benefits the parks and wild animals will have for Danish nature and biodiversity. He believes it is a step in the right direction but hopes the parks will expand in the future.
