BioNMR group iNANO Metabolomic and lipidomic profiling using NMR will provide insights about the metabolites and pathways responsible for adaption to different climates. With 1H NMR and PCA analysis we can identify metabolites of special interest in specific adaptations. With access to various high field magnets 500, 700 and 950 MHz NMR we are able to obtain well resolved spectra with good sensitivity of samples in a range of concentrations. While small peptides and lipid micelles are accessible using liquid state NMR, we can study larger proteins and lipid vesicles using solid state NMR typically at high field.
