My primary research focus lies in animal health economics, encompassing the broader domains of Animal Production Economics, Herd Management and epidemiology. My work integrates a variety of methodologies, including the development of decision support systems, herd simulation modeling, and both observational and experimental research designs in animal herds. Additionally, I employ various statistical and epidemiological methods. A significant aspect of my research involves interdisciplinary collaboration, aiming to analyze and enhance the economics, resilience, and sustainability of animal production systems. This approach ensures that my work contributes to practical, evidence-based solutions for the challenges faced by modern animal production.
