My research is on applied mathematical analysis and computational mathematics. Most of my work concerns inverse problems, but I also have a general interest in functional analysis and discrete approximations of models in mathematical physics.
Previously at Aarhus and other institutions, I have taught introductory and advanced mathematical analysis, partial differential equations, introductory and advanced numerical analysis, the mathematics of finite element methods, calculus, and linear algebra. I have supervised a plethora of projects, from applied projects in Fourier analysis and signal processing to pure mathematics on unbounded and pseudodifferential operators.
