Aarhus University’s research vessel Aurora functions as a platform for a wide range of research and investigation projects with national and international participants.

But the ship is also an excellent communication platform. The project “Hovedet i Havet”' at Aarhus University has just completed a three-week communication expedition, where we visited Vejle, Fredericia, Middelfart, Kolding and Sønderborg.

Together with the municipalities’ nature guides, we informed hundreds of school pupils about life under the surface of the sea and why it is important to take great care of this endangered nature type.
