CIFAR held its first annual meeting on 8 January 2025 at Heimdal, Aarhus University. Following an introduction to the CIFAR research plan and its four focus areas, participants took part in breakout sessions to plan the major field campaigns scheduled for 2026. Particular emphasis was placed on two campaigns: a spring campaign in South Greenland and a summer campaign in Northeast Greenland. The meeting concluded with the development of a detailed month-by-month activity plan for 2026, along with a task list and the assignment of responsible persons.
