Greenhouses

Påskehøjgård consists of three greenhouses used for controlled experiments with plants. In addition, plants are grown for teaching or research purposes.

  • Greenhouse A is 216 m2. This greenhouse consists of a 4 5m2 workspace, a 125 m2 heated cell with 16 tables (4 m2) and a 45 m2 unheated cell with 4 tables (4 m2). All tables are roller tables. The cells have individual temperature control, energy curtains, shade curtains and grow lights.
  • Greenhouse B is 149 m2. This greenhouse is divided into a corridor/workspace of 38 m2, as well as two cells of 40 m2 each with 4 rolling tables (6 m2) and one cell of 30 m2 without tables. All cells have individual temperature control, energy curtains, shade curtains and grow lights.
  • Greenhouse C is 800 m2. This greenhouse is divided into an office, a workspace and a corridor/workspace. There are six small cells, three cells that are twice the size of the small ones, and one large cell. All cells have temperature and humidity control, energy curtains, shade curtains and grow lights.
  • House C is used by the Department of Molecular Biology for controlled experiments with genetically modified plants.

The facilities at Påskehøjgård are used by the Department of Biology as well as in collaborative projects with other departments at Aarhus University and external partners.
