My research, funded by AAGE V. JENSENS NATURFOND, focuses on biodiversity and connectivity across Danish marine habitats, particularly in the Kattegat. I am developing species distribution, predictive, and individual-based models to provide stakeholders, Havsamarbejdet i Østjylland, with data-driven insights for environmental impact assessments and spatial planning. These tools will support informed decisions on Marine Protected Area establishment and marine conservation efforts.
