As a Postdoctoral fellow, I am engaged in investigating the role of autophagy in preventing neurodegeneration, with a particular emphasis on the intricate processes of aggrephagy. I hold a PhD in Medical Science, with a specialization in molecular virology. Prior to this, I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Microbiology. My previous research focused on elucidating the functions of Epstein-Barr virus genes in different stages of its life cycle.

Autophagy in preventing neurodegeneration

My primary responsibility is to independently lead the execution of our research project, in close alignment with the strategic guidance of my supervisor. This encompasses full research workflow- from conceptual development to the publication of findings in peer-reviewed journals. In addition to my core experimental work, I actively participate in departmental seminars, collaborative discussions, and support the preparation of grant proposals.
