Good news from the Department of Biology 🌿

We are pleased to share that two new Master’s programmes have been approved, strengthening our educational offerings and opening up new opportunities for prospective students.

🔬 A new 1-year Master’s programme focusing on nature and landscape management, where students will work with areas such as biodiversity, climate adaptation, and sustainable management – developed in a great collaboration with Department of Gesocience, AU
🤝 At the same time, we are strengthening the option to pursue a Master’s as an industry-based programme, combining studies with relevant professional experience along the way

With these new programmes, we aim to better equip our graduates to contribute to solutions addressing major societal challenges within nature, climate, and the environment.

The programmes have been developed by a team of biologists and geologists - lead by Signe Normand (our resident expert on biodiversity, ecosystems and landscapes and Tove Hedegaard Jørgensen (our Deputy Head of Department for Education).

We look forward to welcoming the first students in the summer of 2027 ☀️
