As a new initiative, the electromicrobiology conference will be preceded by an Early Career Scientist (ECS) Workshop, a 2-day workshop designed specifically for early career scientists (graduate students and postdocs). Here young investigators will present and discuss their research, get hands-on experience with selected techniques in electromicrobiology, and build collaborative relationships with colleagues and peers in an informal environment
