Abstract: The CEREEP Ecotron Ile-de-France is a leading experimental research facility dedicated to the study of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. Spanning 78 hectares of natural areas, it hosts advanced technical platforms, including a range of aquatic and terrestrial macrocosms and microcosms. Its Ecolab systems and Ecocube modules enable precise simulation of diverse and extreme environmental scenarios, supporting studies on climate change impacts and ecosystem functioning. The PLANAQUA platform offers unique experimental setups from microcosms to large artificial lakes, facilitating research on freshwater systems. State-of-the-art analytical facilities support real-time monitoring of environmental parameters and ecosystem processes. It is located in the south of Fontainebleau Forest, close to the Seine, in a exceptional diversity of ecosystems. Next september, the station will host the first fresh water / terrestrial system TREC. I will present you what is feasible to do at our station.
