An international research team has compiled more than 100 pollen analyses from the last interglacial period in Europe, creating a comprehensive picture of landscapes across different biogeographic regions. Professor Jens-Christian Svenning has supervised the study’s lead author, Elena Pearce, and we’ve invited him into the studio to talk about the findings.
